Kannon-ko
Monthly Service Dedicated to Kannon-sama. In various regions of Japan, groups of 33 temples form pilgrimage routes for Buddhists, each housing a sacred Kannon statue. It is believed that completing a pilgrimage (Kannon Junpai) to visit all 33 Kannon statues brings good health and prosperity. This monthly service, dedicated to Kannon-sama, symbolically represents the traditional pilgrimage observed in Japan.
